Very nice shop. Super nice people. Had a nail in my tire and called 3 other places in town who didn't have time to look at my tire. Called Yates and they took me right away. The guy at the front desk stopped what he was doing and immediately inspected my tire. Pulled out the nail, decided it hadn't penetrated the tire and sent me on my way. $0. Super impressed. These guys had great customer service and even wore ties! You don't see places like this any more. Will definitely be coming back for an oil change soon.

My younger sister got her drivers license recently and was driving our mother's 2014 Toyota Highlander. She filled the gas tank with diesel rather than premium, accidents happen. She panicked, had the vehicle towed Friday evening and we came to Yates. Leonard and Earnie were great. We got a loaner there on the spot and they began to explain what may possibly be the process from what they can see this far. I work as an admin at a collision center and know that you don't know until you actually begin the work. Monday the car was ready. At the time of pick up Jon explained the repair process thoroughly. The engine was dropped, spark plugs replaced, oil was drained out of the system, cleaned and oil replaced. the job was great, customer service was great, drives smoothly, vehicle was returned very clean. I had no complaints and the grand total was fair for the tow, work, gas and loaner. I would highly recommend Yates Automotive for mechanical service. Lesson learned, don't fill your car with diesel gas if it is not diesel, or it may cost you $2000+.

After a mistake by a new employee when I was checking out, John Yates gave me a call and fixed the mistake. I very much respect the actions he took to rectify the situation and that changed my opinion of the company considerably. In addition, the complimentary car wash was fantastic and a very nice surprise!

On my way back from work, I noticed that my front right wheels were making scraping noises. I thought the worst and assumed the break pads were worn and it was eating into my rotors. Took it into Yates since they were the only shop open nearby. They offered me a loaner free of charge, and diagnosed my car in the process. Since there was only an hour left until closing, they told me it would likely not be done until the next morning. The mechanic looked into the wheel, and found that there actually wasn't anything wrong with the car. I'm not a very trusting person, but this act definitely gained my trust. They told me it was free of charge, and let me go home with a peace of mind. Thank you Yates.

Mr. Yates has always treated me fairly since I started going here two years ago. I appreciate that they tell me what is wrong and what could be fixed but doesn't need to be right away. I have a very old car, so sometimes things don't go according to plan, but these guys have always worked to make everything right in an honest and straightforward way.The car wash and vacuum with an oil change is also a huge plus.

UPDATED!Mr. Yates called me about my review and we discussed the lack of communication. I am VERY happy that they took the time to contact me, and they clearly wanted me to be satisfied. Edited to 4 stars from 3. I would definitely take my car there again. Like I said, it keeps my money in the neighborhood!Thanks Mr. Yates!I needed some new tires and front suspension work and was quoted a high price, but since I know that kind of work is expensive and I'm not a mechanic I gave the OK and the car was ready that night. When I paid the bill it was more than $250 over the quote.So my beef: I felt like a chump for not asking them to breakdown the exact costs before telling them to do the work, which seems to be very good ( the car doesn't shake anymore) and am disappointed that they were so far over the estimate and didn't bother to call me to outline the difference for routine work.I knew they were expensive from my neighbors so even though I am out $2000 what I would have wanted Is a call telling me it would be more than %5 over the quote. I wanted to keep my money in the community and am willing to pay more for that.So 5 stars for the work, 1 star for the communication. Next time I'll get a step by step breakdown.

These guys were so helpful and kind helping me deal with my tires in the freezing rain! I would definitely go here again for any car trouble.

The Yates family business is great. I'm always on the road to and from city to city. These guys make sure that I'm always on the road making money for my bills. The atmosphere that they have their is family so I feel at home there. Thanks again guys for always looking out for me.
