Automotive Service Advisor
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00 to $70,000.00 /year
Experience:
- Sales: 3 years (Preferred)
- Automotive: 3 years (Required)
The successful applicant will have:
- Minimum 2+ years experience as a service advisor in an automotive an independent repair shop (preferred) or a dealership or independent repair shop
- Excellent customer service skills including verbal and written communication skills
- Great attitude and outgoing personality to build positive customer relationships
- Ability to keep accurate records
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Professional appearance and the ability to adhere to proper uniform standards
- Familiarity with excellent standards of quality control
- Solid problem-solving, troubleshooting and time-management skill
This position will require you to:
- Greet and advise customers about necessary service and routine maintenance needs
- Help identify mechanical problems by questioning the customer, performing visual inspection or road testing the vehicle
- Consult with the customer and recommend corrective procedures. Prioritize required services and make recommendations for future service
- Prepare repair orders documenting all service performed and explain the work performed and charges to the customer
- Handle and resolve customer complaints
- Applicant must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires constant standing, bending and reaching. Frequent lifting of one to ten pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds is required.

Automotive Technician
Job Type: Full-time
Experience:
- Automotive Technician: 4 years (Required)
Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Perform thorough (100%) inspection of each vehicle
- Advise Service Advisor of required and recommend repairs and maintenance
- Upon approval of the customer, provide high-quality repairs and maintenance
- Complete work efficiently and quickly
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
Position Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance required
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Valid driver’s license
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused attitude with ability to work well in a team environment
